What is the best way to live a healthy life style?

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

whats the best foods and enviroments? be specific :)

well as you’d no the curagh at the army barracks is the top place for guides on this stuff around ireland

when i was in the curagh they had me on a diet of

chicken, pasta, fruit, veggy burgers, fish and with them i had to take a side of corn peas or salad

this helped me alot to get fitter and feel better and stronger when worker

so i’d say stick to fruit and veg and still have your normal meals maybe 3-4 times a week because your body won’t like to completely change it’s intake all at once

all there foods were from local farms and we also have running sessions on the plane’s (fields) to help burn the unwanted fat to muscle

hope this helps

What are some good exercises/ recipes for a healthy life style?

Monday, March 8th, 2010

Any exercise no matter how intense or not is crucial for a healthy lifestyle. Try for 30 minutes a day. Walking, jogging, bicycling. Cardio being your best bet. If you are looking for something specific try this. Pick you out ten different exercises like Jumping Jacks, crunches, squats, running in place. Do each exercise for for thirty seconds before switching to the next one. Do at least two rounds of this. Even cleaning the house like vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing bathrooms can be considered exercise.
This new year I made a resolution (yeah yeah :D ) to finally get in shape after having my son in 2008 and so far I’ve lost 8lbs in 17 days!

Here is one of my favorite recipes I found that I enjoy at breakfast plus sometimes as a lunch

Egg White Omelet with Spinach
3 large egg whites
1 tbsp water
1 tsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
1 cup baby spinach
1 tbsp cottage cheese
1 tbsp parmesan
Salt and Pepper to taste

Whisk egg whites and water. Season with salt and pepper. In a non-stick skillet, heat oil. Add spinach, season with salt and pepper. Cook until it is wilted and tender. Add egg whites, cook until almost set pulling sides toward center as uncooked white run underneath 1-2 minutes. Add cottage cheese on top and sprinkle with cheese. Slide onto plate, gently folding over. This so so yummy even my 14 month old loves it!

do you think this is a healthy life style if not what it?

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

Ok this is my idea breakfast a big bowl of fruit like cherries and raspberries, then dance for 15 minutes. For lunch bowl of veggies like tomato’s and cucumber, and dance for 15 minutes. Then for dinner a can of green beans and dance for 15 minutes. Then around 8:00 dance for and hour with breaks of 2-3 minutes. drinking water or watered down gatorade. And if you think this is bad what do you think it should be?

Maybe for 1 day. But that is not a good meal plan. Add more variety and protein! protein! protein!…..Drink water throughout the day also! Good Luck!
